Exchange & Return Policy

Online Purchases

We accept requests for store credit (no refunds) within 14 days from the date the product is received for certain items. The product must be returned to us within 14 days from the date the request is made for your refund to be processed.

All returned products must be in their original condition. We will issue store credit to you as soon as we have received the returned products.

Shipping and insurance fees are not refundable.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
It is recommended to use tracking services and insurance for your returns, as we are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged as a result of the return shipment.

To be eligible for store credit, the following criteria must be met:

  • Order shipped 14 days from the date the product is received.
  • The product is unworn.
  • The product is unused.
  • The product is undamaged.
  • The product is in its original packaging with price tags attached.

We do not accept returns on the following products:

  • Custom-cut products such as chain, wire, wire lace or cord
  • Pre-packaged items that have been opened such as stringing materials, kits, seed beads or Delica seed beads
  • Books & Magazines
  • Body jewelry
  • Special Orders: All Special Orders and/or Custom Orders are considered final - Sales and are non-returnable. If you are placing a Special Order or Custom Order
  • Items bought on sale

We recommend first purchasing a small quantity of the item so that you can be sure the product meets your expectation.

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, Butterfly Beads reserves the right not to issue store credit.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and store credit will be sent to you via email, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your email again. (It can take 5 - 7 days for the reuturn to be issued.) If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@butterflybeads.ca

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Customers must inform within 14 days of recieving a package. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@butterflybeads.ca and mail your item addressed to:

Please note, refund or store credit may be provided instead of exchange up to the discretion of the issuer.

Price Drop Refund (if applicable)

We do not offer a refund on items that go on sale after you purchase them.

All in-store purchases are final sale. No exchange or refunds are allowed.
